This material looks really cheap. It’s very thin, and not nearly as structured or tailored as the product photo suggests. I’ve attached a couple photos to this review. I want to return it, but honestly it’s just not worth the effort of picking up my mattress, removing the bed skirt, and shipping it back. I’d recommend not purchasing this item to save yourself the hassle.

It is rather flimsy and not as firm and opaque as pictured. It will do for now.

Wish I could give 0 stars. Spent an hour ironing this piece of garbage, then it ripped instantly (full whole side rip) with a small amount of tension when I put it on the bed. Already threw out the packaging. I would like a full refund plus compensation for the hour I spent ironing. DO NOT BUY.

Have been searching for a King size bed skirt with 14″ drop. Received this new and in original package 7/2/15. Recommend that you revise your description. It looks nothing like your ad photo and is far from wrinkle resistant. When removed from the original package, bed skirt was ridiculously wrinkled and reeked of a very foul odor. Label recommended that it be washed before use, which I did. The wrinkles did not come out, but thankfully the odors did. Now I am stuck with a bed skirt that does fit, but because of the wrinkles is not presentable. Since I washed this article, I am unable to return it. Be more than happy to send photo. Remove the “wrinkle resistant” tag from you ad. Far from true. Will not order anything from your company again.

I put this item in the dryer for 10 minutes to get the wrinkles out. The bed skirt itself came out nice. However, backing that sits on the mattress, all stuck together. When I tried to straighten it out, it got all holey. I decided I would put it on the bed anyway since that part doesn’t show, but the bed skirt was not long enough to even cover the mattress. NOTHING luxury about this bed skirt. I wanted to contact the seller but that did not seem to be one of my choices.

Three days after I put the bedskirt on my bed I noticed it was already ripped. I’m not sure if it was ripped with I first got it or if it just ripped that easily within the first few days but it doesn’t run along the floor and I haven’t been noting things back and forth from under the bed. I do like the color and it was what was expected but I thought it would have held up better.

I took the product out of its packaging and started to unfold it. As I did I noticed that the “white part” had started to separate from the “grey part”. The “white part” is basically made out of compressed paper fibers and shockingly weak. I have had counter top wipes take more punishment before they started to disintegrate. Perhaps if the part that the mattress sits on was made out of actual cloth fabric and not paper it may be a way better product.Im sure it is more cost effective to manufacture it like this. However it is such a weak material I can see that the first time my cat sprints under my bed it would start to separate a bit. Not worth the savings on anyone’s part.

It looks good, but don’t touch it! I looked it at, then thought that it didn’t need washing since it was a skirt, plus it wasn’t wrinkled, so my wife and I started placing it on the box springs like anyone would. We got one end on and while I was holding up the mattress I grabbed the ‘gauze-like’ white material to pull it slightly tighter, which should not normally be a problem. Well, it was a problem, it was like I grabbed a handful of rotted gauze, it just ripped BIG TIME! I have no idea what kind of crap this is, but it is just that, crap.Anyway, it’s where it doesn’t show, and it’s working right now, but the next time it needs to come off, I doubt it’ll come off in one piece, or it will be able to go back on in one piece.I am SURE that there are better quality pieces than this skirt, I would NEVER, EVER buy from this manufacturer knowingly again. If you buy after this, it’s on you…

The material is thin and the material that sits underneath the mattress is bunchy – DO NOT PUT IT IN THE DRYER – I wish there was a warning about that – I had to pin it around my bed and it didn’t even fit. I ordered “queen size” but I was mistaken to trust this in the advertisement. Always check the dimensions before you buy!! U.S. standard sizing doesn’t work in other countries.I also find that bedskirts that need to go underneath the mattress always slip out of place after awhile and it’s really hard to put them back in place without those screw pins, so I’m going with a wraparound one next time.

  10. Rated 2 out of 5

Sadly this was not at all what I was expecting. The material is a bit cheap, and the liner part (that goes under the mattress) is NOT fabric like the ones I have purchased in the past – it is more like interfacing. There were no washing instructions included or attached to the product, so it will be interesting to see what happens when I do try washing it – I am not sure that the liner will hold up. Also not good with HIGH heat for ironing. might have melted a little corner of it while getting it ready for the bed. I would have returned it, but for the cost and time frame I had it was easier to put it on the bed until I get something different locally and know what I am getting.

I hate dust ruffles to begin with but this was the wrong buy for me. The seems are not strong enough to be able to adjust while on the bed under the mattress. I know my mattress is heavy but I think that’s pretty average. It tore almost immediately out of the box. Ended up chucking it.

  12. Rated 1 out of 5

I wish could leave a positive feedback. I washed bed skirt as instructed. When I took out of dryer the material of the center of skirt fused together- when I tried to pull apart it ripped – so at this point I cannot use the skirt as it has rips – so this was a complete waste of money cause now I have to still purchase a new skirt and this one is garbage. One star cause I couldn’t submit without one, otherwise would have been “0”.

  13. Rated 1 out of 5

As most said about the review the photo is definitely misleading. The material is NOT as thick as portrayed in the photo. Even ironing it did not make it as seamless as in the photo. The material between the mattress and the box spring is quite thin but I think “thin as tissue paper” is an exaggeration. I didn’t however stick it in the dryer so maybe that was the difference. I was disappointed with it but it is more that it wasn’t intended for my bed that had 3 slats going down the middle to hold the bedframe/bed up. Make sure that you don’t have something preventing a bedskirt from sitting the right way. I hope this helps.

I wouldn’t buy this again. It came wrinkled and I put it in the dryer with a wet item to try to tumble out the wrinkles (on perm press, not the hotest level) and the white netting that goes under the top mattress became sticky and stuck to itself. I assume it melts with any kind of heat. Attempting to pull it apart (so I could get it on my bed) caused it to rip– flimsy material. I read other reviews that had similar problems but didn’t heed the warnings. I ended up being able to put it on my bed, but it’s ruined. Not the same quality as other similar items i’ve purchased in the past that have a real, cotton/cloth insert that goes under the bed. Two stars only because i was able to salvage the bedskirt and I didn’t want the hassle of return.

arrived after rather slow shipping. Like the color. Material is pretty light-weight but will do since it shouldn’t get much wear and tear.

It’s very soft, doesn’t need ironing, and the price can’t be beat. But it’s very thin and cheaply made. If you are using this in a room where anyone will see it you may want something better. This is in my guest room and it looks terrible. I have matching sheets in the picture.

I know I should have learned by now, that pictures of items online are greatly enhanced to make them look better, but I guess I needed another reminder. From the picture, this bed skirt looks crisp and heavy. The reality is that is is thinner than my sheets, does not stay wrinkle free, and melts like cotton candy on any setting other than the lowest iron setting. There was no instructions for ironing so I set it to cotton. It was not even close to full heat when I barely touched it with an iron and it melted. I have been ironing for 40 years, and have never seen this happen. The material is so thin, it is see through. Lesson learned.. AGAIN!

Everything was great with it until I washed it for the time which I didn’t do until it on was on my bed for several months. I didn’t wash it like my sheets because I knew it was going under my mattress and my body and skin was not coming into contact with it. It didn’t come out the dryer right, I had the setting on low but the netting was all a mess. I didn’t think I would have a problem with it, since the sheets, duvet cover and two pillow shams came out beautifully. I was very disappointed.I know it is too late to return it or exchange it. Lesson learned.Gloria H CafarellaHope1121@comcast.net

Based on other reviews, I was a little dissuaded about ordering this bed skirt. I decided to give it a shot…boy I’m glad I did. My wife had been bugging me to order a bed skirt for a while now. This thing came packaged neatly and was very easy to open. The size is a true Cali King. No remaining white excesd material hanging. Everything looks great. I highly recommend ironing this before placing it on your bed. It makes it look 100×s better!

I expected it to be wrinkled and it was. Unfortunately, the moment I touched an iron to it, it melted a hole in the bed skirt. Afterwards, I read that it cannot be ironed, so I wasted $14.99 on this. I assume it is not returnable because I had not followed the care instructions. The photo looks crisp and I just don’t see how the item I received could ever look that way. How do you get sharp creases without ironing?

  21. Rated 1 out of 5

Be aware that the middle of this bed skirt is a PAPER product. Based on the price, I knew I was not buying a high end product, but I did expect it all to be a fabric. You cannot put this in the dryer with a damp towel to remove the wrinkles – you will have to iron it. There were several holes in the paper when I had finished ironing it. I managed to put it on the bed, but I am sure it will tear more when I remove it. The company requested my opinion of their product and when I told them how dissatisfied I was, they issued a full refund and did not ask me to return the product.

  22. Rated 2 out of 5

I ended up throwing it away! It looks nothing like the picture which is a crisp, sharp pleat. The material is a slippery polyester type of material that will never lay like it does in the picture even if you iron it.One area was discolored when I received it. It is very poor quality.

I was really wanting the thick and flat look that shoes in the pic. This bed skirt looks NOTHING like the pic shown. It is thin and had some wave to the fabric. It’s on the bed for now…i will replace it soon. If you like the sleek look of the pic shown, do not purchase this bed skirt.

  24. Rated 1 out of 5

The bedskirt center is a super thin gauze with fabric only around the outer ring. So, imagine trying to lift a king bed mattress to get the dust ruffle on the bed and be worrying about the gauze tearing. And then the outer ring fabric is a thin cotton, meaning wrinkled and not holding its form well. The pic is deceptive. Maybe choose a higher quality product somewhere else for your purchase?

The bed skirt itself is OK, a little thin but that is no big deal. However, upon arrival I put it in the dryer on low heat to just get the wrinkles out before I put it on the bed. Low and Behold when I took it out of the dryer the part that goes over the mattress was melted together. I got it somewhat pulled apart but it was still a hot mess. Luckily, I was planning on cutting the center part out anyway. I absolutely hate having to move the mattress just to put on the bed skirt so I just cut the the center part out and tuck the bed skirt between the mattress and box springs.

Deserves no stars! — DO NOT PURCHASE!! I just moved out of my parents home into my very own apt. SAVING MONEY is crucial for me, so every dollar literally counts. I saw this and based off the photos I thought the price and quality was well worth it.. but to my surprise when it arrived it was NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURE. HIGHLY DISSPONTED !! It was VERY THIN and ripped EASILY when fixing it onto the bed. Save yourself the few bucks, purchase from another supplier. Also did not even fit my entire bed was about an inch short of the back ** SATISFACTION DEFINITELY NOT GUARANTEED **

It’s great for the price but isn’t separated at the folds on the corners like pictured. It’s all connected like a fitted sheet.

I guess it’s true, you get what you pay for. This is the cheapest looking bedskirt ever. Very thin fabric and ripped with the smallest tug trying to get into place. And I’m not talking a small rip, the entire skirt then began pulling away from the part that goes between the mattress. There were 3 ppl putting this on and it still happened!

  29. Rated 4 out of 5

Attractive and soft. Haven’t put it on the bed yet as I have my mattress on the floor until I buy a bed frame. That’s the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars overall as actually haven’t used it yet.

The color was as represented, a nice taupe. The bed skirt is about 14 inches long over the edge of the bed. Looks very neat. Be sure to measure for the length you want because with the corner pleats you really can’t hike up the skirt to make it shorter. It does cover the entire springs (it isn’t just a wraparound). The material that covers the springs is extremely flimsy and melted together some in my dryer, so don’t try dewrinkling by tossing it in the dryer with a damp cloth. It looks good on the bed! It is nice for the price.

Received this and washed it before I put it on my bed (following the low heat instructions), and it was destroyed. The thin, mesh-like material crumpled together and tore while in the dryer. It never even made it to my bed. Don’t waste your money.

  32. Rated 5 out of 5

I ordered this bedskirt because I was tired of seeing my mattress because of my bedding always being too short. I was hesitant, though, because my bed frame makes it a little bit difficult to have a bedskirt, so I wasn’t sure it would work. This bedskirt is PERFECT! It fits perfectly, is exactly the right length where it just touches the ground but doesn’t drag on it. It looks great with the grey and white bedding I have. So glad I purchased this!

  33. Rated 5 out of 5

the quality of this bed skirt is top notch! washed beautifully and fits perfectly. I am very impressed and it gives me confidence to show off my bedroom with a completed style.

  34. Rated 4 out of 5

As many other reviews had mentioned, it does tear easily. It also was quite wrinkled but nothing an iron didn’t fix in 5 minutes. I love the color I purchased the grey and its just what I was looking for. I will say the quality of fabric the actual skirt is made from is great, it’s just the liner that is not the best. For the price, I am completely satisfied, I like to change things out often so this is just what I needed, I was not expecting something that would last for years.

  35. Rated 4 out of 5

I love this collection – had bought the sheets in white, liked them so much I bought a second set for the spare room. Then when it was time to switch out my bed clothes for the season I purchased them in cream. I will say that the cream is closer to a light taupe than cream, however it was perfect for me as the exact same color was in the coverlet – bought the matching bed skirt.Pros: So soft to sleep in, really do not require ironing if you time the dryer correctly, look goodCons: Full size – fitted sheet a little on the big side but can deal with it, definitely very light material – may not be liked by some

  36. Rated 2 out of 5

Either was ripped when we got it or as it was coming out of the packaging. I had guests coming down needed to use it so I didn’t have time to return/reorder. It looks nice other than that

  37. Rated 3 out of 5

It comes out of the package very wrinkled and must be ironed. Do no touch the gauzy top with a hot iron. My drop is not 14 inches so it is a little long on sides. It doesn’t look as nice as the picture. Cloth is thin and pleats do not stay like in the picture. I am using it in a rental so the price was okay.

  38. Rated 1 out of 5

Color matched. Quality is terrible. Seams were ripping out upon delivery. The piece that is supposed to be fabric that sits underneath the mattress is a plastic web material, not cloth. I wouldn’t put this piece of crap in my doghouse

We really needed a new bed skirt for our queen size bed. The cats like to scratch the box spring and I didn’t want them to destroy it. The color and fabric are as pictured. Well, maybe. It sure does wrinkle easily and who wants to iron a bed skirt? Also, the length is way off. At least 3 inches shorter than advertised. I should have returned it, but I threw out the packaging. It’s ok. I won’t order from this company ever again.

  40. Rated 2 out of 5

This product embodies “you get what you pay for” – the weight of the fabric is VERY light and when I was ironing it, when I glanced the mesh type fabric (that would reside underneath the mattress) it ripped immediately, essentially separating it from the fabric that would be draped over the edge of the bed. I would only recommend this product if you are interested in an interim bed skirt as I do not anticipate it lasting more than 6 months (or through the laundry etc).

Stitching between portion under mattress and bed came apart immediately after washing for the first time. Had to re-stitch it before first use. Also while ironing bed skirt barely touch material the bed shirt is sewn to and it melted. Would NOT purchase again. Paid 1/2 as much for a bed skirt for another bed and the quality of the under the mattress fabric is much better.

    Tammy Thiel

When I washed it prior to putting it on the bed the cheap material that covers the box spring disintegrated in several places. It is still usable, but I had to cut the corners on the bottom of the bed to get it to lie properly. It was inexpensive, and the quality tells me why.

  43. Rated 2 out of 5

All I can say is that this is a bedskirt. It’s not the color in the photo (it’s about a shade and a half lighter), it’s not luxurious and it’s not crisp like in the photo. It’s thin, flimsy and wrinkly. It works fine as a bedskirt but just know you’re getting what you paid for – a thin piece of fabric to cover your bed frame — not a high quality, thick bedskirt with tight lines and a firm stand.

  44. Rated 3 out of 5

    Amy Archuleta

This bed skirt does not look like the picture. The fabric is thin and the only way you’re going to get it that straight is to iron it with a ton of starch.

  45. Rated 3 out of 5

For the price, it’s worth it, but the pic is misleading…perhaps with a lot of pressing and cornstarch the bed skirt could look as firm and thick as is does in the picture, but that is not what it looks like when you receive it. It is very thin and light material. Also, I have a metal platform, not a box spring, so I need to figure out how to keep this thing from sliding around since I can’t use bed skirt pins.

  46. Rated 2 out of 5

Soft, but flimsy, which I could have dealt with, but the color was so off that it didn’t match the rest of my decor. Color listed is on the left. The actual color was more like the color shown for an alternate product on the right. Much more of a yellow undertone than brown. Had to return it.

  47. Rated 5 out of 5

The bed skirt is a nice fit if you have a standard size bed. So if you have a tall bed or bed extenders these will be too short.

  48. Rated 4 out of 5

The dust ruffle isn’t quite as stiff as it looks in the picture, but the ease of installation and the way the color matches perfect with the Duvet Cover makes up for that. Bed Linens and More, makes it so easy to order the different pieces, in matching colors. They basically do the matching for you.

Product not as described. “wrinkle” free item came completely wrinkled as did the replacement which I was told would be wrinkle free. Made of a flimsy material which would never hang as shown. Tried to iron the skirt and inadvertently hit the seam attached to the white top and it created a hole. The top appears to be made of a paper product. “Hotel Luxury Bed Skirt/Dust Ruffle?” Hardly. I’m disappointed in Amazon. Fortunately I’ve been a completely satisfied customer for a very long time. If this had been my first order I would never use Amazon again.

Wow here is one product that the reviews are accurate. Looks Nothing like the picture. Even ironing it would not have the same effect. Super soft flimsy fabric with no structure at all for a pleated clean look. Super wrinkled. Pretty disappointed.. but the grey color is nice.

Love this bedskirt. It fits perfectly without hanging below the mattress. The taupe color is beautiful and feels suede like. Nice quality.

  55. Rated 2 out of 5

Extremely thin, no where near as neat as it appears in the pic. It comes wrinkled of course and even after ironing it doesn’t have the appearance given in the photo. In addition the very first time putting it on after tucking my sheets, my nail I poked a hole right through it just from tucking my fitted sheet. CHEAP!

  56. Rated 2 out of 5

Item came crammed into a small case, so required pressing before use. Microfiber skirt, so I set the iron to polyester. When I came to a pleat and needed to press from the top, the instant I set the iron down on the meshy fabric of center portion, it melted and left a gaping, irregular hole. This is entirely unsatisfactory; package should warn about pressing if they persist in using such inferior “fabric”.

Just arrived and is fine. I probably should have looked for a 15″ one, but this does the job and the fit was fine otherwise. As others have stated, the material over the box spring is quite thin/cheap. Almost like paper, but fine. Did not rip when I put the mattress over it, but I was careful. It does the job (cover the box spring).

Thin and very cheap looking….nothing like the photo. I guess the price is right for what it is, but I wouldn’t have wasted the time ordering it and returning it if the photo was even remotely accurate.
