For a long time I have looked for an ironing board storage solution that would accommodate my Y-shaped ironing board legs AND my large iron. This one is great! I also like the option of using over the door hanging or mounting to the wall. The item came quick and in perfect condition.

Perfect. Exactly what I was looking and hoping for. I decided on a wall mounted ironing board holder instead of a door mounted holder because I didn’t want the iron board to bang against my door every time I open it close the door. It’s very sturdy and efficient. I appreciate organization and am a sucker for everything having a place where it belongs. This is a great product! And it was one of the most affordable options!

Two mounting holes are only 12 inches apart so both screws aren’t going into wall framing. The hardware that comes with the product is sketchy for the weight of an ironing board, steam iron and a bottle of starch — two very small screws (#6 by 1″ maybe?) and plastic hollow wall anchors. I mounted a 14″ square of 3/4″ plywood to a stud with two 2 1/2″ screws and then mounted the holder to the plywood. The metal that the holder is made from is pretty flimsy. Our ironing board has legs like the one in the picture — angled like a “V” and the weight of the board when suspended pushes the two hooks outward left and right so the board hangs lower than the picture shows. Finally, our Rowenta iron doesn’t sit firmly in the holder. The butt end of the iron’s handle rests on the round-bottomed notch in the holder so there are isn’t a secure feel. We’re using it. Nothing’s going to fall off the wall, but be advised…

I have an over-sized, heavy Y-leg ironing board, and this is the only holder I’ve been able to find that will work. Because my ironing board is so heavy, I use the door mount rather than the wall mount. I also have a heavy Rowenta iron, which fits well in the basket, along with my spray bottle.

My husband and I hung this inside a small linen closet yesterday, in all of five minutes. Although we were hanging it on wood rather than just drywall, we used the anchors too just in case. It seems very sturdy. (NOTE: For those who are planning to just hang this over the back of a door, the one we received did not come with hooks for that–I see other reviewers here say that it is supposed to.) A simple product, to be sure, but I only wish we’d bought it years ago–now we can finally open the linen closet without dodging a heavy ironing board!

I have this on my pantry door- I didn’t connect it with screws so it does slide and that’s annoying but it does hold what I need so I just slide it over when it moves- My door is hollow so I didn’t want to drill holes into it since the ironing board is heavy and along with the iron etc- didn’t want to take the chance it would come loose and leave holes in the door. I had a hard plastic rubbermaid one before- I liked that better- but they don’t make that kind anymore- This one does it’s job.

Love it! I could not find anything like this at my local stores and was excited to find it on Amazon. It’s simple design is great to get my ironing board AND iron hung together. The mount was easy to install, my Rowena iron fits in it perfectly, the ironing board is off the floor and the price was was right. I’m very pleased!

When I bought this the description said it came with the items to make it hang over the door as well as wall mounting it. It did not come with the over the door pieces, and that is now gone from the description. Highly disappointed in this product.

Needed a Ironing board holder that would hold a Large board. Mine is a Rowenta ironing board with a Y legs. This is Just perfect! It holds a heavy board and a large Iron. Love it. Shipping was fast. Can’t saw enough about this great storage unit. Clears up space and can move it from place to place if needed.

Holds my new larger Rowenta iron, hard to find a standard unit that accomodates this iron. Room for the water bottle, and more. Nice product, well made.

It feels like it’s made sturdy but I can’t fully review its functionality becasue one of the legs to hold the ironing board is missing a stopper so the leg just comes right out. It’s no use without it.

Sturdy and a great storage idea, but the hanging hooks aren’t large enough to fit all ironing board legs. Be sure to measure! Bed, Bath & Beyond’s very popular ironing board with horizontal legs of a heftier diameter is just one example of a board hat doesn’t hang right on this product. While I was able to tilt the hooks out to “take” it, the solution is not ideal. Wish mDesign would retool this product with hooks that allow for larger as well as skinnier ironing board legs.

Unfortunately the part of this that holds the ironing board is not large enough for many ironing boards. Keep this in mind before buying.

Would not get this again… the screw holes are not easy to access (better design would have put them ass an eyelet hole). This one you have to screw directly into the wall, but you can’t use your drill because it won’t extend through the 4″ shelf.

Has problems. My wife says the shelf space is too small to fit the iron and her cans (whatever they are). Our ironing board has the “V” type legs. not right angle as in the primary pictures. One of the secondary photos shows our type legs. However, our board legs will not fit into the two hooks and falls through. I bent the hooks together so the board would hang on them. Still not very stable, and looks strange being bent. It went to the dumpster.

missing the screws to hang over the door. Ended up tossing it in the storage room and not using it

Great way to organize ironing board/accessories out of the way. Fits two bottles and my iron. Used a screw driver to hand tighten the screws on both sides (through the bars into a stud on the smaller side and just above the bars into dry wall anchor on the fatter side). One star off because the basket came loose from the back bar on the left side. Used a zip tie tucked out of the way to secure. Good enough.

Just what I needed. Had all the right parts and was in great condition. Easy to install. My iron and board have never hung off of my wall better than they do right now.Where the manufacturer shows a spray can sitting in the basket, that’s where I put my iron’s power cord. I don’t really see it fitting as neatly as it does to the left of the iron in the official photo.

All in all I think it’s a pretty good iron board hanger.I believe the hanger should have came with 4 screw holes instead of 2 for extra support. The material could have been a little stronger for the price as well. To make sure mines was properly secured and it wouldn’t fall down I put two screws underneath the frame as well.

this thing is the next best thing next to peanut butter! I should have bought one of these along time ago. For very little money I have rid myself of a lot of frustration every time I open the storage closet to get my ironing board. Normally the Ironing board gets shoved to the back behind the brooms, vacuum, mops and etc. Now I just reach in and get it! I love it!

Arrived as scheduled and does the job I needed it to do, which was to provide a place to get my ironing board off of the floor. My ironing board has get that are wide spread the board pictured, but even wider, so it just barely makes it. But I think that would be a problem with any newer ironing boards with this kind of legs/ feet.

I wish it was a little slimmer, but overall it works and is great! It does hold my ironing board with the ‘y’ legs. It was a little difficult screwing in the screws with the basket, but I got the job done eventually.

Great organizational piece for a small laundry room – gets the ironing board off the floor or from in between appliances. Iron fits nicely as well. Pleased with the purchase.

Very small storage up top, noisy and damages door. I think it would be better executed if it had suction as well or side clips to keep it from swinging.

once mounted it appears it will be fine, however the mounting hardware is poorly thought out. It includes the regular shields and small phillips head screws. Trouble is you need a very small screwdriver with a very long shaft to mount it as you cannot get through the rack otherwise. Too frustrating when you have a plethora of tools to be off to HD for yet another!

I hung this in my broom closet to hold cleaning supplies. The hooks hold mops and dusters. The space for the iron perfectly holds a box of swiffer wipes. The other space holds microfiber cloths.

I am a very organized person and love having a specific place for everything. This ironing board holder allows me to keep my ironing board and iron up on the wall and out of the way in my laundry room so I know where it is when I need it.

Installed in the wall but thought the holes where a bit too small to put a sturdy nail in the wall to hold up the weight of the iron and board. Think the design should be re-thought out for the future.

After wrestling the ironing board from a narrow space between the wall and dryer for far too long, I’m quite happy with this purchase. It’s well made and attractive. I accidentally broke my last iron from dropping it while reaching to the shelf above the washer to retrieve it. Problem solved.

We hung this up right away on the back of a closet door. My ironing board fits just like the photo in the ad. Plus my large iron fits fine on top. However, my water bottle and spray starch don’t fit, so I have them on a nearby shelf.

Perfect fit – but just made it getting my V legged ironing board off the floor. I hung off the back of a closet door and attached another fastener on the bottom to keep ironing board from banging. Great price, super useful

Holds our four legged ironing board tightly against the wall.Have a LONG screwdriver for the side that holds the iron. This mounts to the wall and does it’s job well and neatly.Ensure your iron is cool before placing it, as our touches the wall.

Easy to install and very functional. Allows for placing the hot iron directly within the upper basket. A fancier version would have been preferred but this does the trick.

Looks great, minutes to install. Two issues, 1) rubber caps on end of ironing board legs makes it to wide to fit properly on the handger. Solution, trim the caps. 2) my iron is too deep to fit properly. Solution: new iron or live with the iron slightly tilted.
