We live in an 1100 square foot 2 story town home and this vacuum is absolutely PERFECT for us. We have hardwood floors and tile throughout most of our home with carpet on the stairs and upstairs hallway. The hard wood floor attachment is absolutely perfect for cleaning up debris and dust off the floors, I can pretty much make our broom an outdoor tool only now. The turbo head does an absolutely fantastic job on our low pile carpet and is maneuverable enough on the stairs to vacuum the stairs. The vacuum is quiet, super light weight and portable and has just the right amount of attachments for our needs and incredible suction power. This is our 2nd Miele vacuum, we had the upright Salsa before this and it was just too heavy and big to use in our town-home. I would highly recommend the C1 Turbo Team to anyone in a similar sized home as us, and of course Miele is just unmatched. I don’t care where this thing is made, its still a Miele and they make amazing products.

This is a light and convenient vacuum cleaner. Although it has multiple settings for floors and floor coverings, the unit is most effective on bare floors and carpets with very little or no pile. Medium pile wall-to-wall carpeting seems to tax the motor. This machine is effective in picking up tenacious pet hair from floors and low pile carpets.

I’ve owned two previous Miele vacuums and rated them both with five stars. Now that we don’t have pets anymore, I wanted to try this more affordable new model. It is lightweight and easy to maneuver but the air-brush head attachment is extremely loud (for a Miele).Since I have mostly bare wood floors with a few thin rugs, I can mostly avoid using the noisy air brush head. I did replace the parquet head that was included with the one I used on my old Capricorn Miele, which is an excellent maneuverable XL twister head with natural bristles. With that modification, I’m happy to have a lightweight, more affordable Miele. While it doesn’t have quite the same high quality feel of the more expensive models, this appears to be a good vacuum at this price point.

I had a Miele in Germany that was the best vacuum I ever owned. This one is not as high quality; one of the brush attachments broke after only about a month. I’m disappointed – still deciding if I will keep it.

This is the lightest vacuum I have ever owned. I hated canister vacs before because they always seemed bulky and were difficult to maneuver around furniture. This is not the case for this one. It gets all the dirt and rocks up on my carpet and hardwood floors. The fact that it is lightweight allows my two children to use it. Which is a plus for me. Highly recommend this for your home.

The carpet head is only powered by the suction, so it doesn’t move and pick up quite as well as I was expecting on our carpet which I thought was a low pile, but it works well enough – it’s quite light which is nice and I like the ease of changing the bag though not the cost of the bags.

I like this vacuum a lot. The “turbo” brush head works better than I expected. The “turbo” brush does make a high pitched sound otherwise the vacuum is fairly quiet. More than enough suction, sometimes I bleed off the suction a bit because otherwise it inhales small rugs. For a single guy with no dogs there’s no need to spend more. Before the C1 Turbo I had an Electrolux from the 70’s which was better but the Miele is much much lighter. Not looking back. If you have big dogs get a bigger machine such as the upright model which has big bags and an electric beater. After using for several months, I would add that I wish the power cord was longer than 18 ft. Also, the tool holder falls off. Plan on leaving it in the closet. I still would not spend more.

I love this vacuum cleaner! It rolls around so easily and is light weight. The hose is long and the wands expand a long way. So much easier to handle than other vacuums I have had. And on top of all this, really cleans well.

This Miele is a little workhorse of a vacuum. Hardly takes up any space in your closet. Reliable like the bigger models with plenty of power. The only drawback to this model is the Turbo-brush is suction driven, not electric. I also have the electric model, but the price difference is significant. That said, it works perfectly on smooth floors, tile, wood and some tight low carpets or rugs. It would not be suitable for thicker pile or shag carpets.

Replacing my 25+ year old Kenmore Progressive Vac. which still runs. Miele power head did a good job on my low pile carpets and its filtration system appears to be top notch. Very disappointed with the amount of cheap plastic in the unit and its accessories. Things are going to break. Compact size and less weight are nice but dust bag size is very small which will probably require frequent and costly changes. Compared to my old Kenmore, this Miele model is a big let down. At $200 or so it would be a good buy; at $400 it is way over priced.

Small but powerful with lots of control. Well designed and easy to store. The rotary brush attachment does a great job at picking up my dog’s hair off carpeting. Well worth the money.

It is quiet and seems to suck up a lot of my furry family hair. Ordered the bags at the same time I placed canister order; unfortunately, they didn’t fit and it took forever to find the right bag. I was told that these small bags can really hold quite a bit because they compress the “stuff.” I would have given it seven stars IF the on and off switch was located on the wand. Couldn’t see from the Amazon photo whether the switch was on the wand and unfortunately, assumed it would be since new models usually have that system. Since the pipe is long (nice), I have to keep going back and forth to shut the thing on and off. Also, don’t be surprise when you see how small the canister is — I certainly was.

Vacuum head very small. Roller brush in vacuum head recessed deeply so it will not reach carpet. Not meant for medium pile carpet as described, might be good for all solid surface flooring. Cheaply made light weight vacuum head and attachments. Super disappointed in this product.

So far, so good! I have a dog and we go for walks 4 or 5 times a day. This vacuum cleans up everything we manage to track in and it’s way more quiet than my previous vacuum (which my dog appreciates). I also have allergies and the bags and filters help a lot.

I have a Cat and Dog Miele also but I love this Miele more. It is super light weight and digs into super thick carpet, no problem. It is also great on stairs- much easier to use than the heavier unit. The only thing I don’t like is the accessory tools which don’t stay on the unit well so they end up being stored on a shelf which is not convenient. Aside from that design flaw, it is the perfect vacuum.

This vacuum has changed the way I look at that terrible chore. It’s light, easy to manage, and the suction is amazing! The different attachments are perfect, the rug head is so Good! After hauling around my 20 year old Electrolux, it is a welcome change and cleans even better! No more bending over to get baseboards and corners, the heads come off and you can suck up anything you like, it even reaches the cob webs on ceilings! 😁😁

I’ve been using an upright my entire damn life and it suddenly occurred to me that a canister vacuum was what I need. I have lots of nooks and crannies, plus cats tracking litter and fur. It’s definitely better for the nooks and crannies, but I’m still getting used to pulling the canister around. It’s much more unwieldy than just pulling a cord around. I’m also still figuring out the best way to use it on low pile carpet. For the big spaces of carpet, my upright Oreck can’t be beat. But I’m not unhappy.

Definitely not worth the money. Miniature vacuum like a toy, very cheap plastic attachments, not even a rubber bumper to protect furniture and molding. Strength of suction okay at highest level. I would go back to buying a Kenmore on sale any day.

This is without a doubt the WORST vacuum cleaner I have ever had! I have had Meiles for years and never had bad luck. The suction power is so low, you can barely use it. It is nowhere near as powerful as the old, tiny white Meile it was supposed to replace. Had I not had the flue for the past 3 weeks, I would have returned it. Now I am just stuck with this piece of junk. Not happy!

My Miele Compact C1 Turbo Canister Vacuum made quite a splash when I brought it to my Mom’s house on Sunday. It was delivered as my son and I were leaving to go visit her and my two sisters for Mother’s Day, so, running very late, we just put it in the back seat and took off. When I told my Mom I had it in the car, she wanted to see it because she used a Miele for years and loved it (note: this is about where I was starting to get nervous, it being Mother’s Day and all!). So I brought it in; it is very light! We opened it up and in literally no time at all had it running. It is quiet, kind of like a vacuum cleaner on helium. Higher pitched and less decibels. But outstanding suction! My Dad noted that there are two small sliding ports to allow air in through the connecting areas with the hose, for times when you’re going from wall to wall carpeting to area rug. We both thought that was clever. The retractable plug was popular. It isn’t like the retractable cords of old, where you press a button and the cord rewinds at the speed of light, knocking over lamps, whipping small animals, and denting your ankle before crashing to a stop in the body of the unit; like the vacuum itself, it is quick, quiet, and steady.Three of the attachments snap on to the black part where the hose meets the vacuum; it is unobtrusive and clever and easily removable, and most certainly accessible. In the same vein, the main wand can slide into a small slot on the side of the upright cannister so that you may carry the entire ensemble as one piece; I thought that was very clever. So during the “after-party” we tested the vacuum during clean-up on three different surfaces; tile, small-pile area rug, and slightly thicker wall-to-wall carpet. We used the suction-powered turbo attachment on the carpets and the smaller, wide attachment on the tile. We used three different settings on the “dial.” Five stars all around. The one thing I do wish the turbo attachment had was a light; my Mom brought out a stick vacuum that she has and I never realized how a “headlight” really helps you to see every little tidbit on the floor. What a difference! The compact size of the unit (and the fact that the wand can attach to the cannister as I’d mentioned) means that even a small closet would be an easy storage area. I believe there is a way to mount the cannister off of the floor, but I’ll need to read into that more to be sure. When I brought the Miele back home, we used it on the low-pile carpet in our living room, and our five cats helped test the suction-powered turbo brush. It worked very well. We did have to clean out the brush afterward; it’s never going to work perfectly that such a brush will not get swamped with pet hair because all the hair goes up the tube after having been scraped by the bristles. But the bristles DO pick up the pet hair, and I don’t mind a couple minutes of follow-up cleaning out the brush to finish up the job. While the turbo brush does work well, I wonder how it would do being directly powered by electricity instead of with suction power.I have to give the Miele five stars, bit 4.5 would be a little closer to the truth. Light, super-portable, easily storable, $400 is on the high end of a still fair price range, and if the turbo brush had a headlight and a powered rotating brush, that would definitely mean a strong 5-star rating from me. Still, what an excellent vacuum, and I expect it to remain so for years to come.

I have a compact Miele that is in excellent condition and works wonderfully even after five or more years. It cost about the same amount as this one. I bought one without a carpet attachment as I never planned to have carpets. However, I find myself renting a studio with carpet. I had the chance to review the Miele Compact C1 Turbo Team Canister Vacuum. It comes with two cleaning heads (one for carpet) and the standard three attachments. It is packed well and very easy to put together, I didn’t need the instructions. The power setting was set to min. right out of the box. I was a little concerned until I moved that up to max and it worked exactly as I expected. It was great to give the carpets a real going over with a proper attachment. I have no pets, and I have always found the bags to last rather a long time. (Maybe I should vacuum more often. LOL) The quality of the bags is amazing. The wand has a great telescoping feature. I think this is perfect for a smaller space. I have used the upright Miele which I would recommend if you have a big house with wall to wall carpeting. Having owned a couple of vacuums at the $100 price point, my advice is save up until you can buy a Miele.

Doesn’t live up to Hype.1) Bad on/off switch dies after a few years. (My Hoover is still alive after 40 years)2) Awkward tool holder. (loosens up connection to hose).3) Rug attachment doesn’t do a good job on rugs.No more Mieles for me.

Consensus opinion on Miele vacuums appears to be 5/5 stars across the Internet. Upon receiving my Miele C1 Turbo, I tested the vacuum on low pile carpet. I was very disappointed with the results; cleaning ability was no better than the $59 Bissell I currently own. I plan to return the Miele and continue searching for a more capable vacuum.

I moved from an Electrolux Oxygen Deepclean to this. The Turbohead did not clean my carpets well. After just an hour on one carpet, I have to return it. I have to say, I had heard that this manufacturer was great, but I didn’t find the suction power all that terrific on my carpet. I’m going to try a stronger Miele head but, if it doesn’t work, I don’t know where to go from there.

Impressive new, compact, lightweight model. I often use a robot but other times, I rely on this efficient model. I love using it and I don’t like housework, so that makes the chore go by faster. The low noise feature is unbelievable and the HEPA filter for allergy folks is great. It takes sbout 50 hours of sweeping before you need a new filter and bag which you can toss out and refill like a snap. A well engineered product I use on hardwood floors that is easy to drag behind me it is so lightweight and it rolls well over cords and transition bars. The steel tube is solid and sturdy. This sweeper comes with two heads–for hardwood and carpet. Hard, durable, easy to maniupulate tube. Every tool, head, cord, etc., clicks together solid. Stores easily in hall closet. Talk about engineering–very good for the middle of the road price. I highly recommend this.
